When contemporary handbag brand Carolina Santo Domingo launched on
NET-A-PORTER, MCMPR recognised the playful silhouettes and clean lines instantly appealed to our local editors and influencers. Understanding Santo Domingo’s desire to expand the business further in APAC, MCMPR initiated a strategic seeding campaign during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia 2018 aimed at amplifying brand awareness and visibility, as well as supporting current retailers through strong social media content.
MCMPR’s VIP relationships saw the brand dominate the week’s street style feeds, spotted over 70 times across social channels and sites including Vogue, Harper’s BAZAAR, ELLE, Marie Claire, Grazia, Grazia, Who What Wear, Le 21eme, as toted by editors from BAZAAR, ELLE, Marie Claire and street style darlings Yan Yan Chan, Jiawa Liu and Chloe Hill.
The campaign results were echoed in sales appointments with new leads generated and existing accounts noting the high presence of Santo Domingo’s bags during fashion week.
